And that guy in the EU pointed out that actually, no, they wouldn't be automatically an EU member countryand therefore wouldn't qualify for EU aid or the single currency. Certainly the EU doesn't need yet another economically shafted country asking them for handouts. Their entry wouldn't be a foregone conclusion at all.
I honestly think that they're better off as part of the Union.
