If we truly wanted to be an independent entityI'm sure someone could set up a bulletin board somewhere- but this one already exists, we know where it is and we get new people coming to it on a regular basis. I'd hate to start up a separate site and then have it become an insular community known only to the few who post there. Lots of boards like that are out there already...
