in other newschaps, I know you do the firm, grippy, hand-crushing thing when you shake hands with each other, in a crap macho "I'm stronger than you are" way, but WHY WHY WHY do you do it to us ladies too?
I just met the chap I'm waiting here to meet who smiled and was polite and then BROKE MY HAND in a completely pointless demonstration of strength. I have tiny child hands! There is no need to compete with me! You will win!
