I've wanted a pet tortoise for ages. I haven't got a lawned garden though, so going to have to wait until my next house :'(
On the 'must have' list: lawned garden, semi, off road parking. I've been looking at some places near me in York.

However I have now trained it to be hand fed.
Are you looking at places that may benefit in value from the HS2 line?

I was looking at Church Fenton, but then the HS2 line was confirmed as going right through it, ruining the property values.
York's getting a connecting hub, and I reckon, realistically, that it'll go in pretty close to me. I live in West York, Holgate, and the main rail line goes past about 5 mins walk from here, the station is only a mile away from my house and there's loads of waste ground round the back of the station which was due to be developed.
If they put the hub in within walking distance of my gaff then the value of my house should shoot up even further.

It's a lovely wee village. The normal rail line goes through it and it has a station, but HS2 needs new lines which will go through a part of the village. People are facing CP on their houses. It'll ruin the village.
York's getting a proper hub connection.
