Take my word for it, that will put you at Carbis Bay for about 10.30. just as most are hitting the roads(

The upside is you can park up and you get a full day, try the Tea rooms behind the hotelthere a little path next to the hotel that takes you there, follow the path for a really nice walk into St. Ives
