The problem is that kids don't have any respect. For anything, least of all authority. And they know that a copper can't touch them. I know that sounds a bit Daily Mail, but if they had respect for coppers, and were maybe a bit worried that when they got home they'd be bollocked, maybe this wouldn't happen...

Fair enough, I suppose... But you want the police to stop you getting ripped off by drug dealers??

I really think that the Police have an extremely hard job to do, which is not made any easier by reams and reams of red tape. *was going to join the police*

My fiance's Dad is a policeman, and used to be in the Tactical Firearms unit. Some of the stuff he's seen would curl your toenails. Guns are not fun.
