OK, let me put it another way.if it is for sale for £60 on eBay, it's worth £60. And you'll be able to buy it for £60 somewhere else. That's how the world works.

Somewhere else? Bit vague though isn't it. He could trawl the web for hours and find one for £60 on some site he doesn't know or check the big online stores and see if its cheaper on ebay.
