I've never been tothe Edinburgh festival, either the proper one or the fringe. I try to avoid Edinburgh in August as you can't move for tourists and luvvies.
But I have watched some of it on the telly. It can get a bit weird. I remember seeing a bit about one show which consisted of some old bloke reciting his poetry to about a dozen people.
