So how likely is it that GHB, or whateverwould put someone close to passing out for a couple of hours or so and then mostly clear up?
It's perfectly possible she just got drunk in a way I've not seen her do so before, but with the surrounding circumstances, it was all a bit odd.

GHB metabolises very fastso that's possible. Most of these things do. But GHB also hugely slows down the metabolism of alcohol, too, so that would mean she'd stay drunk for longer.
