@KaolI don't know if I could get any cool points in a dirty Laguna with an oil leak...and you should see the contents of my iPod!
@al - I believe the break even point is about 50mph in most cars. That's where air resistance starts to become significant, and opening the windows disrupts the airflow over the car quite badly.
In town it's far better to have the windows down though, as using the aircon in stop-start traffic adds a lot to fuel consumption. Also, fuel economy of most cars is worse at low speeds. Between 50 and 60mph is usually the most economical, in terms of mpg.
