Okay then...I've turned down its brightness and killed the sound effects, and turned off the wi-fi, which undoubtedly eats up charge at a furious rate. (It's an iPod Touch, basically an iPhone without the mic and speaker.)
Let's see if that helps. I'll plug the beast back in after the battery is drained and let it charge...
