when I've made jokesabout huge portion sizes (fnerk) and lardy merkins, most of the sylph-like creatures I work with have looked at me aghast and said "you're not expected to eat the WHOLE meal at a restaurant..." Which is a good point, it's usually good for 2 meals at least. And I don;t think they could make it much cheaper. Someone at work was complaining about paying $10 for a burger. Five quid for a burger and fries - not fast food, in a restaurant. I dread the day they visit London...
