On digging into itit looks like I'm in the clear- we had a purchase agreement for carbon steel with stainless wetted parts. I would not have written the BOMs without being instructed to do so.
Unfortunately the project manager is on vacation until Monday... but he does have a Blackberry, so I'll buzz him anyway. That's why they pay him the big money, after all!
