I'm pretty sure you can get areplacement railcard for free. Not sure how as I had to get my student one replaced when the window witch decided I wasn't actually the person in the photo and tore it up in front of me. Fucking livid about that as it was a brand new three year one (£50 cashback or a 3 year railcard at the time from a bank IIRC). I think I just phoned national rail and gave them my details and they sent me a new one starting from that day.
