It's difficult to see a cyclist at the best of times, in a car. Big blind spot and a narrow profile.It's made tens times worse when they're wearing dark clothing, weaving around and taking risks. It's made a thousand times worse if you're driving an HGV.
I've said it before, they should relay the roads to give cyclists their own lane with a raised kerb on the traffic side.
