I'm a big fanof pasta and a jar of spaghetti sauce. Boil the pasta, rinse it, put it on the plate, then pour sauce over the hot noodles- the noodles will heat the sauce on your plate (especially as it's already warm and not refrigerated), and it's a minimal mess to clean up- the pan can basically be rinsed, and the paper plate discarded. Cheap and it won't go bad if you wait a day or two to cook it.
