@MrsLWhere do you run? Is it in the middle of a city or out in the countryside? I try running on the treadmill and it bores me senseless so I always run (slowly - more of a jog than a run, truth be told) on a mix of street circuits and parks. Obviously not an option in the dark for you as a lady!
Edit: Oh, and age TOTALLY counts. I feel buggered after a long run!
