I wouldn't have even considered him.
I'd go with Prior if he was getting runs, he's the only one with enough experience bar Bell, and Pietersen, and we know what happened there. Bowling captains never seem to sit right with me.

I don't reckon bell would be any good either, but they will probably would go with him next. They will stick with cook though
A 'young' captain might be good, but there isn't really anyone who has cemented their place in the team.
