@PJMOooh, that's something I know very little about... Maybe you could apply for a company you really want to work for, doing kind of the same thing, bed yourself in and then go for a sideways move?
I'm an ex-bar manager, ex-investment rep, ex-helpdesk analyst, ex-recruitment consultant who is now a Marketing/Research Manager for a very small (in terms of employees) website. We do get a big bang for our buck, though, we're the world's biggest and busiest website for what we do!
I am, as most of you know, a wannabe actor and writer. Well, we all have a dream, eh?
