@osokI'm an aircraft bore too to such an extent that I went to OASC Biggin Hill (and failed) to try to get near to my ambition of trying to fly for a living.
Think I've gotten over it now ... I've jumped out of a few of them which I think means I'm no longer allowed to be an aircraft bore anymore.
My Dad - despite 22 years in the RAF - is STILL an aircraft bore and he takes his grandaughter (my daughter) to air shows two or three times a year despite her being a precocious wee 11-year old who's getting bored by it but flutters her eyelids at him appealingly and he spoils her rotten.
