@DiTMe too. My Dad was best man at one of the Red Arrows pilots' weddings when I was seven (I think) and I was completely gobsmacked by all of these piloty types.
Army joke: how do you tell if you're in the company of a pilot? Don't worry, he'll tell you soon enough.
btw, it's (shockingly) nearly 20 years since the massive Ramstein crash and the end of the Frecce Tricolore - flying nine aircraft with something like 100cm between the wingtips at 400kts? wtf?!
