Yup, on the radio.
Stuart Maconie also started the myth, in the pages of the NME that Bob played the sax solo on Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street.
And in further trivia, Patrick Mower of Emmerdale fame, was approached to play Bond before Sean Connery was ofered the part. Oh, what might have been, eh?
