Re: the same amount of coffee. Yes, it SHOULD be the same amount, but given that a "medium" is a tall thin glass, most of the coffee ends up down the side where the coffee monkeys that make it have the eye to hand co-ordination of a blind leper with parkinsons.
On a side note, I have terrible wind, and am going to blame that on the coffee too, regardless or not it's true ;)
