I had a real go at a customer once
He had his first set of reading glasses and was moaning like hell. Not about the cost but about the fact that his eyes were "so bad".
I got really fed up and told him that I had been wearing glasses since I was 8 and literally can't see my hand in front of my face, but I consider myself lucky as there are people in this world who would give anything to have my level of vision for just one day.

I used to be such a grumpy sod.
