Smith v GlodblumMaybe I've misplaced the "smug" label there...there is something revoltingly self-confident about Jeff Glodblum in that film as well. Perhaps I just found Will Smith to be a bit more ubiquitously obnoxious.
But put them together, such as in that final scene, where they're sat in the spaceship smoking fucking cigars, and you have an absolute critical mass of fundamental smug.
Regarding Love Actually, yes, I'll concede that Bill Nighy made me laugh. The rest of the film made me want to scream.
