I only ever go down to London for either work stuff which is just same day stuff, or for gigs/ clubs, in which case me and my mates stay at a hotel in Holborn. Easy enough to walk to from Kings Cross.
Last time I was down for recreation we went to Shoreditch, Brick Lane then on to Fabric in Farringdon.
I really like London, it's a great place to visit. Pretty sure it's very different to living there.

If he actually leaves his job I'll buy you a pint, that's how much I reckon he'll suck it up and stay there.

You can access your pension fund at 55, so you could take your 25% PCLS and put the rest into drawdown with no income taken. It'll easily recover the 25% by the time you hit 60.

First time was when we went to go and see Spiritualized doing Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space live at the RFH. Another of my mates works for one of the rail companies, so gets drastically reduced train fares as part of his benefits package. £20 return to London from York.
