I dunno the town...But contrary to popular belief stained glass windows do not "run" but due to imperfect methods of making panes there would often be an end that was thicker that would be placed at the bottom for stability.
Also the Isle of Wight is the smallest county for half of the year at high tide however at low tide Rutland is slightly smaller.
