edit: port forwarding isn't on
it doesn't seem to be that it is stopping the router working as my work laptop is still connected, just the wireless connection between home computer and router.
when it has happened, in the wireless network connections box in windows it is saying that the settings on the computer aren't right to connect to the network, or something along those lines
