baz & BobExcellent choices. I'd also recommend Keith Jarrett's Koln Concert (there's an umlaut on the "o") and anything by Count Basie. And Gunther's right about The Duke.
As for classical, Keith Jarrett did some Mozart piano concertos too. ("Too many notes.")
