BGBlaughter is good, and I don't consider myself much of a looker particularly, but witty charm (as opposed to sleaze) is the way forward!
@Batman: I also recommend growing a beard, this will eliminate potential beard-hating undesirables
edit: another beardy-bonus - it hides the signs of aging.
