Two things - as HCFB says, what's the deal with George Clooney? I mean, to my eyes, he's just another bloke. Yes, reasonably good looking I suppose, but I honestly don't understand what he has that makes women drool over him. (That said, I wouldn't mind some of whatever it is!)

And the second thing - you're wrong about the positive change in appearance with ageing only happening to men. Some girls who were quite plain at high school have turned out to be really attractive women. Not stunning in a classically beautiful way, just desirable. And vice versa for the pretty ones. Some of them haven't aged well at all. One never can tell!
