Supposed to be moving today (rented flat)***Got a call last night. They:-
Don't have the keys*
Don't have the alarm code
Don't have an up to date Gas safety certificate
Haven't cleared the garden**
Haven't cleared the shed***
Haven't replaced the security lighting
Haven't done the 'tenant's leaving check'
Haven't had the place professionally cleaned - as promised.
Other than those 'minor hiccups' (their words) I'm all set!
*The previous tenant moved out on the 3rd of May - and took the keys with her - which begs the question of when were they going to clean/leaving check/gas check if they KNEW they hadn't got the keys?

***Full of old aerosol cans and butane cylinders - not a fire hazard at all -much!
