I'm sure I read years agothat sleep tight was to do with keeping the covers tight around you to stop bad things getting you. Probably completely wrong though, although I can never sleep with feet uncovered.
PoD, personally I wouldn't, but don't see the harm in you doing so. Looking to make an entrance?
