Bought a broken lamp at Chiswick fair a few weeks ago.solid wood, some type of walnut I think. It's a lovely pattern, Google tells me it might be burr walnut. Two quid. At some point the bulb attachment had given up the ghost. It was all smashed up. A fiver in B&Q, a few minutes' work and a new bulb later and I have a lovely new lamp.
