I think you're being a little harsh there, old chap.

Saying 'put two and two together and try not to get three' is implying that anyone who was shocked by the content of the programme is a bit of a thickie.

I, for example, was aware that in breeding happened in pedigree breeds, but had no idea as to the extent that it goes on, nor was I aware of the severe medical problems that some breeds have as a result of that.

OK, so that is probably quite ignorant of me, but if that documentary has made even a few people think hard about what they want out of a dog, and if it goes any way to changing the attitudes of some breeders, then it's maybe a good thing.

Criticising a programme because it highlights something that a lot of people already know doesn't necessarily make sense.

Anyway, that's my point of view, don't want to have an argument or nuffink.
