Cheers, I'll pass MonikerBeen there, done that, never again Al. At least you had an industrial sander when you did it. I did the whole thing by hand, but the boards weren't in too bad nick when I ripped up the carpet. Managed to paint myself literally into the corner though and slept on the windowsill with the windows wide open that night (doh!).
