I was once given an appraisal by an outside management consultantHe started by introducing himself and giving me the bad news that, if I didn't 'raise my game significantly' they'd have to 'look at an exterior redeployment' I:E fire me.
It wasn't my appraisal - he thought I was someone else and hadn't bothered to even ask my name.
