@DGHave you tried making a wee "cave" for your Kribs? We did this (oh, many years ago) and mummy Krib defended them fiercely. We ended up taking the young to the pet shop she had so many.
We used small pieces of cleaned slate, but a plant pot buried in the gravel would probably work, too.
