Almost forgotIf Japanese food is your thing you must try the Ichiban at 201 Cowbridge Rd East.
Run by a lovely Japanese family and my current favourite eat outery!
Small, informal with none of the silly showey stuff that you see in London. Most tellingly, many of the customers are Japanese themselves.
