And have just been offered a mighty £13k a year deal for my current job.

Just wondering how to tell the cunt to fuck off and die....

The gears of my brain are grinding but im pretty sure aged 24 I was earning about £9500 basic but was £13000 ish with overtime and on calls. Was almost 10 years ago mind.

They don't pay me overtime on the basis that the managing director is a insomniac red bull addicted bi-polar bastard that works 12 hours a day because his wife divorced him and decides with all his power he can inflict his spiteful hate onto everyone else in the organisation.

What do you do?
If you're planning on staying then research the payscales of the competition or a similar role and counter offer. If you're jacking it then there's a myriad phrases which would suffice.

while I may complain that engineers are underpaid I did start on £19k at 24 or 25 and my pay increased something like 13% in the first two years...

My old place only paid me
£10500 a year that went up to a massive £12500 before I got sick of it. I now do the exact same job in a university for just under £19000 and don't have to put up with fucking twats all day.

I didn't tell my old boss to fuck off, I just handed in my notice the day after he went on his month long holiday so that I just walked out the day he came back.
