@clendrixProcrastination - I once published a scientific paper, and received an e-mail from a bloke in the USA asking me a question about the experiment. I forgot to reply, as it came in just before the Christmas holidays.
I still haven't done so, although I do still have his e-mail. I feel like I should reply sometime. It was sent to me in December 1997, and I always fancied replying on the day after, only in a different year, but as if I'd replied immediately, making no reference to the fact my reply was so late!
