I should point out that MistaSpakka is quite right to step back from the abyss of oblivionThey're only running the protons up to speed tomorrow in the contra-rotating rings. They won't start smashing particles together until October 21st or somesuch.
Anyway, when they fail to annihilate the universe using protons (atomic weight 1)they're going to ramp up until the eventual climax smashing nuclei of Lead together (atomic weight 207). At that point, expect aliens from outa space to show up and nuke Switzerland from space. It's the only way to be sure.
