I'd just woken up (California is 3 hours behind NY)and was staring at the TV, and then watched as the 2nd plane hit.
Went into work, and someone brought in a spare TV and we just spent all day watching the footage.
Got loads of emails and phone calls from England asking if I was ok (Hello, people, wrong side of the country!).
It was also the night I had my first girl on girl encounter.
