Yes
Amazing, isn't it?

I'm going to sleep, maybe.
I got given five books by my mate, as he works for a publishing company, and gets free stuff.

If they're Harry Potter books
burn them, burn them into his eyes.

EDIT and goodnight if you do go to sleep.

Nope, good books
Two Charlie Brooker ones, Lord Of The Flies, some trashy detective-murdey-type-thing and a 1940's trashy detective-murdey-type-thing.

What books has Charlie Brooker written?
I've loved that guy ever since he was a writer for PC Zone when I was about 13. Screenwipe was ace too, he's just ace.

Hmmm...
In other news, Wookiee and I have named a drink after you.

Do go on
I am intrigued. And honoured. Should I be honoured?

Is the drink Slough based? I suspect that was the extent of Wookie's involvement.

It's not as cool as that
He was looking for a name for the unholy (but, I'm reliably informed, nice) combination of Pimms and Relentless.

I suggested "SuperWeasel", as it's brown and it'll give you a burst of energy.

Outstanding
I need to try that drink.

/lacks Relentless.

I've not got either
Ah well, I'm sure it'd be better with vodka in too...

Right, I'm off to read, so I'll catch up with you later.
Night!

You crazy, drink-making fool, you.

They're pretty much
Collections of his columns (he writes for the Guardian).
One's called "Dawn Of The Dumb", and the other is still in my bag.
