@TGBIt may well have been. I wasn't listening to it as such, but that does ring a bell.
I agree that I've been making sweeping generalisations, but as with any genre of music, unless you like it and are interested in it, it all sounds the same. I know nothing of hip hop so it all sounds uniformly shite to me!
