couldnt you set up an ipad in the kitchen for her while you watch it on the tele and just press play at the same time
hers would be portable so she could continue watching it whilst doing her chores?

ask her to create a flat surface backpack, that way she can be multi purpose when shes scrubbing the floor by your feet
