Hmmmm...In defence of The Mars Volta, I saw them before they'd released their first album, so the stupidly over-the-top stuff wasn't a big issue.
How could I forget Muse!
I saw them at the epic Wembley gig they played, just after Black Holes came out.

SOAD are also fantastic, yeah!
