Pointless lies are the best lies.I have a mate who regularly invents his life story when he meets new people but always a story that's slightly duller than the truth. He's never an astronaut or a football star ... he's usually a dreary professional like an actuary or a lawyer.
He sounds like a massive prick now that I've written that down.
