Continuing the themeI totalled a Jaguar XJ by barrelling into a stag at 125mph.
I was on the apex of a long, sweeping bend on our test track and hard on the throttle for the next straight. A stag ran out of the trees ahead of me and across the track, straight into the path of my car.
It pretty much exploded on impact, made a right old mess of the front of the car and the antlers ended up embedded in the passenger-side A-post, nicely smashing the windscreen in the process.
Fortunately, I was unharmed. That is, if you can call having deer brains and blood splattered up the left hand side of my torso unharmed.
