For the recordI've never hit a cat, thankfully. But I have hit:
a dog
pheasants
partridges
sparrows
swallows
rabbits
frogs
a badger, and
a teenage chavette (which was the least distressing of all)
There may be more. I've been in a car which hit a deer and the car was pretty badly damaged, as it was a roe buck. Mind you, the deer suffered even more damage. We'd no room in the boot, otherwise it would have come with us for the next night's dinner.
